Learn directly from Gabor Mayer - PM at Google

Very useful approach and pace for a busy PM looking to add some Vibe coding experience. Course included a lot of real hands-on time designing and creating apps.

I came into the course as an engineer-turned-PM who could talk confidently about AI in meetings but had never actually shipped anything built on top of an LLM, let alone a real product. A month later, after working with Gabor, I had a Swift/Flutter app running on Firebase that was designed and coded entirely through Claude Code, supported by a dozen agents handling everything from CTO-level architecture to design review. I didn’t make it to the App Store in time, but I got close enough that the gap between where I started and where I ended completely reset what I thought a PM could actually do solo. What Gabor gets right is forcing you to build. You can read every AI post and listen to every AI podcast out there, but none of it really clicks until you watch your own product give three different answers to the same prompt in front of a user and suddenly understand why things like temperature actually matter. The course pushed me through that wall and many others. Tradeoffs between smaller models and frontier ones stopped being abstract opinions once I had to run the numbers myself. Unit economics became real when mapping variable cost per query against user LTV instead of assuming “models will just get cheaper,” and privacy constraints, which had previously felt like slide bullets to me, turned out to quietly kill ideas I wouldn’t have expected. What surprised me most was the strategic layer. Most AI content stops at “wrap an API and ship,” but Gabor kept bringing the focus back to the harder question: what is your product actually adding on top of the model? If the answer is just “a nicer UI,” then you don’t really have a product - you have a feature waiting to get eaten. That reframing alone made the course worth it, and it’s something I now use almost daily when looking at AI products and roadmaps. The pace is intense, and there were definitely weeks where I felt behind, but that’s also why it works. You finish knowing the difference between what you truly understand and what you were previously just nodding along to. If you’re a PM who wants to stop sounding like you’ve read about AI and start sounding like you’ve actually built with it -including writing the code - this is the one.
